The primary aims of the journal are to:
Promote high-quality research on the psychological, biological, and social mechanisms of stress and resilience.
Explore the role of cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal factors in shaping mental health and well-being.
Provide a multidisciplinary forum for the development and evaluation of stress management techniques and therapeutic approaches.
Bridge the gap between psychological theory and clinical or applied practice in healthcare, education, and organizational settings.
Encourage the integration of traditional psychological methods with emerging technologies, such as digital health tools and virtual therapies.
JHPSM welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and theoretical or conceptual papers in areas including (but not limited to):
Human cognition, emotion, and behavior
Psychological assessment and intervention
Acute and chronic stress responses
Anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders
Workplace stress and occupational health psychology
Mindfulness, resilience, and positive psychology
Stress in children, adolescents, and aging populations
